Terms of Use of the Internet Self-Service System
The Aim of the Document
The aim of these terms of use is to provide the client with the information on the Terms of the Use of System and to determine the liabilities of Client and Star Cinema Jūrmala in relation to the use of System. The Client’s duty is to acquaint with the Terms of Use. The Client confirms that, when buying, he has acquainted with the terms, as well as his provided data are true, valid and complete.

Client – recipient of Star Cinema Jūrmala service and/or Buyer of Goods, a natural person who has electronically confirmed that agrees to the Terms of Use
Terms of use – these Terms of Use of the System
Goods – cinema tickets offered by Star Cinema Jūrmala
System – the Internet self-service system of Star Cinema Jūrmala which is available at website kino.korso.lv and where there is ensured an opportunity for the Client to purchase Goods online and to obtain information on the films showed at the cinema, their schedule, availability and prices of tickets
Subject Matter of the Contract
Star Cinema Jūrmala undertakes to provide for the Client the services related to the System, but the Client undertakes to use the System in conformity with these Terms of Use
1. General Terms
1.1. The purchase is made electronically by confirming the Terms of Use;
1.2. The services related to the system are available 24 hours a day, if:
1.2.1. It is not denied by circumstances that go beyond the control of Star Cinema Jūrmala;
1.2.2. There are no preventive measures or the activities for the improvement of System carried out
1.3. The information on the services available in the System and the procedure for their provision the Client may receive according to the procedure provided in Clause 7.3.
2. Client’s Obligations
2.1. The Client undertakes to:
2.1.1. Provide true information;
2.1.2. Ensure that its equipment complies with the minimum requirements set for the receiving of System services
2.2. By agreeing to these Terms of Use, the Client confirms that he/she is informed of the personal data processing performed by Star Cinema Jūrmala in conformity with these Terms of Use, and he/she agrees to them.
2.3. The Client has the right to:
2.3.1. Verify the conformity of Goods before making payment for the Goods;
2.3.2. Send to Star Cinema Jūrmala information on the inferiorities or inaccuracies noticed in the System;
2.3.3. Exercise freely the rights provided by the laws and regulations of the Republic of Latvia.
3. Star Cinema Jūrmala Obligations
3.1. Star Cinema Jūrmala undertakes to:
3.1.1. Allow the Client to use the System in conformity with these Terms of Use;
3.1.2. Ensure the provision of services related to the System and selling of Goods to the Client in conformity with these Terms of Use and the laws and regulations of the Republic of Latvia;
3.1.3. Send promptly following the purchase the cinema tickets to the e-mail address indicated by Client.
3.2. Star Cinema Jūrmala is not liable, if the Client does not receive the information sent by Star Cinema Jūrmala to the e-mail address indicated by Client. The information is considered sent to the Client upon the registration of its sending in the System.
4. The Term of Contract and Its Termination
4.1. The Contract comes into effect, when the Client has electronically confirmed that he/she agrees to the Terms of Use, and it is in force for the period until the purchased Goods are used;
4.2. Star Cinema Jūrmala has the right to terminate unilaterally the Contract promptly and without giving a notice, if the Client has violated these Terms of Use.
5. The Liability of Parties
5.1. Star Cinema Jūrmala is not liable for any losses incurred to Client in case, if any third party uses the System using the Client’s data;
5.2. The Client is liable for all actions in the System performed using his data
6. Data Processing
6.1. By using the system the Client provides Star Cinema Jūrmala with personal data that are processed for the following purposes:
6.1.1. To fulfil the liabilities under the Contract between the Client and Star Cinema Jūrmala on the supply of Goods within the framework of System according to the Client’s request;
6.1.2. To reply to the questions and requests sent by Client;
6.1.3. To improve the quality of services and the assortment of offer, the functioning of System and Client’s experience regarding its use by performing Clients’ satisfaction surveys and studies;
6.1.4. To send personalized information to the Clients regarding similar Goods, discounts and other campaigns of Star Cinema Jūrmala on the basis of Client’s purchases and activities in the system.
6.2. When processing the Client’s personal data, Star Cinema Jūrmala undertakes to observe the laws and regulations regulating the protection of natural persons’ data
6.3. Star Cinema Jūrmala undertakes not to disclose Client’s data to the third parties
6.4. If the Client does not want to receive information in compliance with Clause 6.1.4 of these Terms of Use, or the Client has other questions concerning the personal data processing performed by Star Cinema Jūrmala, please, contact Star Cinema Jūrmala using the contact information that has been provided in these Terms of Use.
7. Refund Policy
7.1. Customers may request a refund for purchased cinema tickets by using the cancellation link provided in the email containing their tickets.
7.2. Upon clicking the cancellation link, a refund request is sent to Star Cinema Jūrmala.
7.3. The refund request must be submitted before the scheduled start time of the show.
7.4. Star Cinema Jūrmala will process the refund within 10 (ten) days from receipt of the refund request.
7.5. Refunds will be issued to the original payment method used for the purchase.
8. Other Terms
8.1. Electronically prepared documents have the same force like documents prepared in writing;
8.2. Client’s electronic agreeing to these Terms of Use confirms that the Client has acquainted with them, understand them and agree to them;
